Job Summary:

The Public Relations and Communications Officer will manage the full range of stakeholder and public information as well as outreach activities in support of ACDINOCA RWANU programs and objectives, targeting information to specific audiences in program areas and program stakeholders in accordance with the program's strategy and evolving circumstances.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure overall quality and coherence of the program's branding, marking and communications initiatives.
Liaise with COP, HQ and managers in the implementation of the program's branding and marking plan, communications and outreach plan.
Integrate key branding communications to beneficiaries and stakeholders in project implementation processes.
Support communication of key project events and activities as well as tailored reporting to sub-county officials
Offer support by writing brief success stories about project beneficiaries
Act as an advisor to and liaison with management regarding all stakeholder communications, media relations, and outreach matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all USAID and ACDI/VOCA branding and marking regulations

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

The candidates should all possess two  years of work experience in Public Relations/ Journalism/Communication field;
Experience in implementing communication strategies and PR plans;
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format and build/ maintain relationships;
Good understanding of USAID communications and branding and marking guidelines is preferred;
Prior working experience with USAID projects is desired. Self-starter and ability to handle multiple tasks under deadline
Excellent knowledge of oral and written English. Ngakarimojong and/or Swahili will be an added advantage.

Prepare and generate reports related to membership processing as required and as requested by management.
Suggest ways of improving processing timelines and improving efficiency and at the same time escalate challenges and possible solutions.
Approval for individual Refund/credit note request for both renewal and new business.
Obtain customer information and update member contact records and changes in the existing databases;
Communicate and record any special arrangements or concessions given to the supervisors and IT system support team e.g. out of ordinary plans, new limits, other riders, loading, waivers etc
Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
Good knowledge of Ms Office

Experience:

2 years’ experience in a service related post.

Ensure compliance with all financial and contract reporting requirements for licensing, Audit and regulatory agencies;
6. Reporting

Preparation of the various reports including: Management Reports, Cash projection, Aged Debtors Report, Aged Suppliers Report;
In conjunction with the country manager prepare the annual company budget;
Ensure that all assets are properly recorded in the asset register and insured;
Preparation for the annual audit;
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time;



Qualifications:

Academic: 1st degree: commerce or business
Professional qualifications: CPA (K) or equivalent.

Skills and Knowledge:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to remain focused under pressure circumstances.
High proficiency in the use of Excel and Word
Good oral and written communication skills

Experience:
