Minimum two years technical experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders including the media, judiciary, CSOs, and adjudication
Minimum 5 years media production and training experience, with strong emphasis on radio, preferably community radio
Minimum 5 years management experience
Demonstrated experience in media work in Uganda.
Sound knowledge of radio, TV, print and website production techniques
Experience managing USAID – funded programs
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Fluency in local Ugandan languages an asset

Perform installation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of defective components of truck
Perform preventive maintenance based on predetermined service schedules
Perform fault finding and diagnostic test of engines, transmission and drive trains
Build and repair diesel engines
Attending to vehicle breakdowns
Maintain shop tools and equipment in good, safe and clean working order and report deficiencies

Personnel Specifications
Preferably a Degree in Automative Mechanical Engineering or Related Field
Must be currently employed as HD Truck Mechanic with minimum of five years’ work experience in trucks
Must have prior work experience on MAN. Nissan, and Mercedes Benz trucks
Must have excellent problem solving, diagnostic and fault finding skills
Must hold a local valid heavy duty driver’s license
Basic knowledge of Human resource management and supervision will be an added advantage.
