The organization seeks to recruit a self-motivated, dynamic
and results-oriented person to fill the vacancy of Assistant Finance &
Administration.
Job Description
Under the general direction of the Senior Finance and
Administrative Associate, assist in the following tasks:
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly financial reports
- Maintain and file financial records and post accounts data into Quickbooks
- Update accounting records as and when transactions take place, and ensure that proper documentation is filed for each transaction
- Conduct cash counts on regular basis
- Provide feedback on budget verses actual expenses
- Make wire requests for the office operations
- Maintain the books of accounts and database
- Assist in monthly reconciliations
- Liaise with Senior Finance and Administrative Associate on Financial Planning
- Other tasks as assigned/delegated by supervisors

Qualifications
For appointment to this position a candidate must have:
- Part III of CPA (U) or its approved equivalent qualification OR a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Commerce or any other relevant equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Proficiency in computer applications, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel a must and Accounting based Applications are an added advantage.
- Served in a comparable and relevant position for a minimum period of one (1) year in a busy organization
- Shown merit and ability in work performance and results.
