Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive UCDA vehicles as directed and ensure their safety;

Requirements:

Should possess at least 2 classes, (B and DL) for the driving permit.
A-level certificate of education.
A certificate in motor vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
At least 5 years’ experience in driving with a clean record.
A person of high integrity and honesty.

Deployment

Review all vendor invoices for accuracy, monitor vendor balances, issue and send checks signed by the COP to appropriate beneficiaries.
Carry out payroll and make disbursements.
Monitor and track all personnel benefits including vacation and sick day balances and bonuses.
Process and submit required documentation and personnel taxes (as requisite by local law) to Ministry of Finance.
Process travel advances to local staff and follow-up on outstanding balances.
Verify and process expense reports generated by the staff.
Work closely with the National Technical Manage and home office team to develop a management system for monitoring the budget for project activities, level of effort. Support the technical departments with the financial monitoring of activities in the field according to established procedures and calendars, as and when needed.
Contribute to the preparation of contractually required financial reports, as well as any other financial reports required by Chemonics International.
Upon financial audit, provide the necessary technical support to the auditors conducting the audit and assure the implementation of any audit-based recommendations.
Offer oversight and supervision to office administrative assistant, if applicable, and driver.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Masters preferred.

Specifications:

Provide overall HR leadership; collaborate with the management team to design and implement roadmap to support organizational growth and culture
Collaborate with head office HR in rolling out organizational development initiatives
Conduct ongoing analysis of the organization, monitoring and interpreting trends and key HR metrics
Manage full cycle of HR operations
Develop practices and programs that attract, retain and develop the best possible talent in the marketplace and makes the company attractive through competitive pay and an engaging culture Key Responsibilities:
Capability building – the development of people and processes to ensure the delivery of HR services across the country and ensuring greater employee engagement, motivation and productivity.
Selection and special projects – proposing and delivering new HR initiatives and cascading progressive HR practices, coordinating and communicating with head office and other countries, supporting change management programs.
HR Policy review and analytics – monitoring all aspects of HR compliance, employment legislation, supporting HRIS and evaluating relevant HR data.
Relationship Management – managing the above whilst maintaining all relevant internal and external relationships.

Educational Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related area of focus is required; Master degree (e.g., MBA, MA HR) strongly preferred

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 7 years HR experience in generalist roles
Experience working with a diverse workforce.
Prior experience working within an NGO is a plus.

Additional Job Requirements:

Ability to travel to domestic and international offices on short notice
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience.
Remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in work environment

Responsibilities:

Lead the production, processing and marketing team of the seed enterprises.
Ensure overall planning, budgeting and implementing the operations of seed enterprises.
Help marketing team to assess market demand, prepare marketing strategy and ensue demand based production.
Ensure planning and distribution of oversees seed requirements.
Analyze sales trends and ensure increase market share.
Prepare and update periodic progress reports and business promotional materials.
Maintain relationship with different stakeholders both internal and external.
Ensure smooth and timely furnish of all deliverables.

Educational Requirements:

MS in Agriculture or any other discipline from any reputed university with minimum two first class/ division/ CGPA 3.00 in all academic examination. Candidates having MBA degree will be given preference.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum seven (07) years of progressively practical experience in Seed business which includes planning, organizing, leading and controlling of entire seed enterprise operation.

Additional Job Requirements:

Strong oral and written communication skill in English is mandatory.
