Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Manage the strategic development of Clinical Services at the Hospital

•    Provide leadership in developing creative, innovative and cost-effective healthcare at NHL

•    Monitor quality and appropriateness of medical care within the hospital

•    Develop clinical policies and procedures.

•    Oversee clinical peer review.

•    Oversee documentation and care planning

•    Manage physician relations and/or representation

•    Handle clinical patient complaints

•    Address emergency clinical issues Qualifications:

•    A minimum of a post-graduate degree in Medicine, with ten (10) years postgraduate experience in private or public healthcare management.

•    At least 7 years in senior clinical practice with management/leadership roles in a similar sized healthcare facility.

•    Valid registration and practicing license from the Medical & Dental Council

•    Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-task setting.

•    Must possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

•    Must possess high analytical skills.
