Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of smooth running the Seed Enterprise in Uganda.
• Supervise and execute activities like Seed production (like, planting, cultivation, harvesting,), Processing, marketing and research for product development.
• Ensure the business plan is on track for seed business and well harmonized with production and marketing plan.
• Responsible for managing BRAC seeds in the market with the highest quality.
• To organize all donor/ministry/ staff are expected to attend farm visits and contact grower’s field demonstrations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The General Manager must hold a MSc. in Agriculture.
• At least ten years of educational / outreach experience on seed business.
• Highly skilled on seed business
• Significant experience in creation of farm plan and whole farm budget.
• Ability to work in all conditions
• Highly reliable-responsible and self motivated person.
