Job Title: Field Study Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the surveyors, the nurses who will perform the NP swabs and the data management team responsible for the double-entry and validation of all data collected on the standard CRFs
• Ensure completeness and consistency of the study data
• Support and respond to requests from the study site to the PI, the Co-PI, the co Investigators on study related matters
• Participate in all study relevant meetings and update the team on study progress
• Perform other duties as assigned by the PI, the co-PI, the Medical and studies coordinator, the Director of Epicentre Mbarara and the Director of the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health

 Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• The candidate should hold a Medical degree
• At least five years of experience trial/ study conduct
• Working experience in Uganda
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of organizational and record keeping skills
• Excellent proven written and verbal English
• Excellent team player and used to work in multi-professional and multicultural teams
• Recognized ICH-GCP certificate
• Proven written and verbal English

Job Conditions:  Status : local Epicentre short-term contract -2 months contract starting November 2013.
