Job Title: Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership of the finance team, including offering ongoing training, supervision and support to the Accounts staffs and cashiers
Effective management of donor funds in pursuit of the agreed objectives.
Ensure financial and control systems are in place for financial management and reporting
Organize hospital audit meetings
Be responsible for the preparation of financial budgets in consultation with budget holders
Ensure timely , accurate and high quality financial reporting on all activities
Deal with any disciplinary or personnel issues in the finance team
Oversee financial management at the hospital
Preparation of monthly statutory deductions namely LST, PAYE & NSSF
Charged with the continuous improvement and development of the finance team


Person Specification / Qualification:

Relevant academic training (diploma or degree) in Accounts and/or Finance eg, Business administration (accounting)/B.Com (accounting) etc
Professional recognition through certification of CPA or ACCA is desirable. Minimum required experience and skills
At least 3 years experience in Accounting
Very good computer skills with extensive knowledge of excel, and accounting systems
High level of integrity
Good communication skills
Team work/team building skills
Track record of team leadership, and team supervision.
