Duties:

• Responsible for performing internal control reviews of financial and operational processes.
• Assess risks and controls which mitigate risks, perform testing of controls to ensure effectiveness, and report audit results to management.

Qualifications/ skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
• At least 2years of experience in internal audit or public accounting, preferably in an NGO
• Fully qualified Accountant ( CPA or ACCA), qualification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of current professional accounting and auditing standards, Procedures, and requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
• Team working skills are an important element of this role.
