Job Description:
   
Responsibilities:

• Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes;
• Identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP) to ensure organization’s effectiveness and efficiency.
• Be familiar and troubleshoot all hardware, software and with network operating system; supervise preventative maintenance programs and system upgrades.
• Provide orientation to new users of existing technology, train staff about potential uses of existing and new technology; Provide individual training and support on request.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development.
• Hire and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems.
• Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end users.
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and upgrades.

Requirement:

Minimum requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstrated extensive experience in an IT environment at a Managerial level the fields of project management, technical support, systems programming or computer operations.
• Tertiary level qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent) at Degree level or above.
• Demonstrated experience with Web and Internet technologies.
• Demonstrated extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems and Office package.
• Demonstrated knowledge of network and workstation operating systems
