Minimum Qualifications and Working Experience:

• Applicants should be Ugandans holding Class III or IV Certificate in Meteorology or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
• Applicants should have a minimum of six (6) years relevant working experience three (3) of which should have been served at the level of meteorological Assistant in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.

Duties:

• Digitalizing analogue data and tabulating it for keying into the data base
• Making Weather observations hourly
• Entering observed data into the logbook
• Receiving Weather summaries from outstations
• Plotting Weather data on various technical charts
• Entering datainto the database
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Secretary Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 7080, Kampala to be received not later than 6th November 2013

Ministry/Department Headquarters and District Service Commission Offices.
